When I see fan rosters for Sony's Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal there are always two characters that stand out: the classic PSX franchises Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. While both had seemingly faded into obscurity over, Spyro has been lucky enough to reinvent his image with Activision's Skylanders games and toys.
Crash was not so lucky, and remains a dried out third party mascot who has been tossed between so many companies that no one cares anymore. But let us remember Crash at his most memorable stage: as the weird, sort-of Playstation mascot:
And while it's unlikely we'll be seeing any orders from K.B. anytime soon, I'd like to think he was at one point the VP of Smash Bros. Clone Roster Making.
