It's been a while since a new strip went up...so here ya go!

For those who haven't followed the plight of Mega Man Legends 3, this is a title fans have awaited for over a decade -- particularly because of a cliffhanger ending on the second title. It was announced exclusively for the 3DS, to much praise. Capcom opened up the Capcom Unity Devroom (and its since-closed Japanese counterpart) to publicize the game and held design contests for included characters, bosses, and NPCs. They promised that a special Prototype Version of the game would be available for sale when the 3DS launched as a means of the company gauging interest. But E3 came and Legends 3 was entirely absent. The 3DS launched and there was no Prototype Version, seemingly delayed. The game even began to disappear from Capcom's Japanese website.

Finally it was announced that MML3 had been canceled. Capcom's official reasoning for this is that fans failed to post on the forum or create enough fan art, therefore the game was a financial risk. Naturally, fans are crushed.

So what can you do? You can start by joining the Facebook group, 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back MML3. Then you can head over to the Capcom Devroom forums and register as a Serv Bot. Sign the only Capcom acknowledged petition. For more information on saving the Blue Bomber, visit Legends3.com!
