Whenever I ask friends and acquaintances and random people on the street what they think of Star Wars: The Old Republic, the conversation follows a predetermined routine. First, I'm told the game looks generic, boring, or too much like existing MMOs. Second, I'm told that they will "probably try it, anyway" based on the fact it is A. Star Wars or B. made by Bioware.
As both a lover of all things Metroid and a lover of plastic crap to put on my shelf, I'm terribly excited over the announcement of Max Factory's Samus Figma. Or should be more concerned that Bandai will retaliate with a better release for their D-Arts line?
