Nerd Rage Update
Friggin' Gamestop #1

Friday
February 3rd, 2012

This week's comic kicks off another story arc. "But I don't want to wait," cries the impatient reader. Well that's good, because I'm bad at timing these things out. You'll get the next 2-3 comics all in one sitting in the next update.

Capcom has announced release dates for the Resident Evil 6 demo. More specifically, the 360 version will hit July 3rd. The PS3 version will hit September 4th. They're really taking delayed exclusivity to the extreme. Gaming Target reached out to Capcom, and the company had this to say:

"This was a strategic business decision."

Yes, Capcom, just like every other choice you've made. Like price gouging 3DS games. Or announcing Mega Man Legends 3. It's not like you guys are known for hasty, questionable mistakes.

Here's a video where some guys from University of Pennsylvania take it upon themselves to bring us one step closer to our inevitable apocalyptic future. Arm yourself with a crowbar and prepare yourself for the uprising.

This week DC finally admitted they're not done with Watchmen. They're, in fact, releasing a line of prequel comics. Alan Moore is not involved, obviously, and the world is left scratching its collective head over who these comics are targeted to and why anyone thought this was a good idea.

Hi /r/comics mods!
