This week's comic is a hasty conclusion to last week's story arc. It's also concludes the cameo set up by Two Guys and Guy.
I almost hate ragging on Gamestop in these two updates; I had to go there to pick up a Circle Pad Pro (which was stupidly hard to find) and ended up having to hit three different stores in search of one. The point is, the employees were really nice and called around, eventually getting one held for me at the third store.
But then I remember that The Retro Gaming Vault is a real thing -- and many items have sold out.
I'm enjoying Resident Evil: Revelations so far (the only game that works with the Circle Pad Pro). It's a nice return to form for Resident Evil, at least in Jill's story. I'm still undecided on the 3DS-add-on, though. It's nice having a second analog nub, but it'd also be nice not having a portable that feels like my old fat DS ate an even fatter DS.
Double Fine is running a Kick Starter to finance a new adventure game. Who doesn't love Tim Schafer? They've got almost twice the goal money in one day, meaning they'll likely be the first game studio to finance a game based on a Kickstarter. What does the future hold for game development?
Toy Fair is approaching...which means new product. NECA's replica Portal Gun has already shown up for preorder through Japanese retailers. Maybe we'll finally see finished versions of the Valve figures they're developing?
