Happy New Year, dear readers. 2012 was a big year for nerd-stuff, here's hoping 2013 is just as fun!
Frequently I waste this part of the site talking about 'what could have been' with the comic you read above. Let's start 2013 off right and do that again. This week I wanted to do an extra-long strip to really see 2012 out with a bang and give Elliott a chance to talk about the highs and lows of his year. It was also supposed to be a chance to show that all the extraneous cast members are there, and end with Elliott's New Year's resolution.
It kills me not to be able to present a full-fledged party, but there's no way I'm able to do 4 or so comics worth of material in 2-3 days. And it's not the sort of thing I want to spend the whole month of January telling, because people just don't care that much about gag comics going into story arcs.
Anyway, if (or when?) I print a Nerd Rage book, maybe the long version will be in there. Or maybe I'll care less by then and no one will remember this.
